Why I Wrote This Book

Beyond the Last Breath

I wrote this book because what happened during my mother’s illness — and in the days and years that followed her passing — was too consistent, too precise, and too deeply real to remain unspoken.

As her illness progressed, dreams began to unfold with an accuracy that defied coincidence.
During her final days, moments occurred that did not belong to the physical world — moments of clarity, presence and perception that no medical framework could explain.

After she took her last breath, the silence I feared never arrived.
Instead, her voice continued — unmistakable, calm, and alive.
And the communication did not stop.

For years, she appeared with remarkable precision:
in dreams that revealed truths, in quiet moments at home, and at times when guidance was needed most.

This book exists because her departure was not an ending.
It was continuity.

I also wrote it for families who have walked through cancer and felt abandoned by the brutality of the illness, or confused by the mystery surrounding the final moments of life.
Cancer affects the body — but it does not touch the spirit.
And once we disincarnate, the spirit regains clarity, freedom and strength.

Spiritism offers explanations that bring comfort:
why certain illnesses unfold, what the spirit experiences as the body declines, and how benefactors and protective presences accompany the transition from life to life.

My mother was not alone.
She was supported, guided, and welcomed — and she continued to speak, protect and guide after leaving the physical world.

I wrote this book to share a simple, liberating truth:

We do not disappear.
We continue.
And those we love continue with us.

• Dreams that predicted illness long before any doctor could detect it.
Moments of impossible lucidity in the midst of aggressive cancer.
The unmistakable presence of spiritual benefactors at her bedside.
Visits that were real, tangible, undeniable — felt, heard, witnessed.
A bed shifting, the air changing, someone arriving. No imagination.

No doubt.
Her mother’s voice, heard clearly after death, with identity, precision, and strength.
• Years of ongoing communication: messages, warnings, protection, and guidance.
Night-time encounters that were not dreams but conscious, direct, unmistakably real meetings.
• Journeys to the spiritual colony where her mother now lives as a Spirit.
• Spiritist explanations that illuminate illness, suffering, and why some souls leave early.
• A message for families who watched their loved ones die in pain: the body fails — the Spirit does not.

Tender, persistent, irrefutable evidence that love does not vanish.
It expands. It changes form. It continues.
And it continues with us.
